6 of Kent by Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, entitled "::J'onin.
7 Ordinance for the City of Kent, Washington," passed by the
8 City Council on the 15th day of Seatember, 19605 and.
9 'v EEREAS, the effective date of the zoning of said
10 certain land by said Ordinance No. 1071, and the effective date
11 of said Ordinance No. 1071 itself was the 3rd day of October,
12 1960, and
13 1HEREAS, as required by Section 10.16.020 of Ordinance !�
14 into. 1071, as amended, the City Council, after referral to and
15 study by the Manning Commission of the City of Kent, recommended
16 that said land be zoned from R-1 (Single Family Residential) zone

17 to C-3 (':general Commercial) zone, and
18 WHEREAS, thereafter the City Council of the City of

Kent did upon the 5th day of April, 1965, hold a public hearing.
20 on said recommendation insofar as it related to said certain land,

24 Section 1. The following described land situated in the
25 City of Kent, County of Kink, State of Washington, and DreseTit ly
26 zoned as R-1 (Single Family Residential) zone, and more Dar-
27 titularly described as follows:

of said subdivision; thence South to the worth margin
of C. A. Reiten Road; thence i,lorthwesterly along said
margin to West boundary of said subdivision; thence
North to beginning; situate in the City of Kent,
County of King, State of Cashington,
The and it is hereby rezoned to C-3 (General Commercial) zone.
Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the
comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum
thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in Section 1
of this Ordinance.
Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon
the comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an
addendum thereto; the copy of said ma.-) or addendum shall be
filed with the County Auditor of Kin;? County, Idashington, and
the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of
King County.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as orovided by law.
