AN ORDINAI'dCE relating to planning and zoning for land use and development in the City cf Kent and zoning pursuant to Kent City Ordinance No. 1071 as amended, certain land annexed to the City as unzoned as R-1 (Single Family Residential) zone, R-3 (Multiple Dwelling?) zone, R-4 (Multiple Dwel- ling?) zone, and I11-1 (Light Industrial) zone. WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed to the City of Kent unzoned, and WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, the City Council of the City of Kent, ;,lashington, after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the Cit of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter set forth, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon the 5th day of April, 1965, hold a public hearing on said re- commendation insofar as it related to said certain lands, said public hearinu, being held after proper notice thereof, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KE14T DO ORDAIN AS FOLL&JS Section 1. The following described four parcels of land situated in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and presently unzoned and more particularly de- scribed hereafter, are hereby zoned as follows: Parcel 1. R-1 (Single Family Residential) zone: The East 460 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 22 Horth, Range 5 East of the ',fiillamette 1'Ieridian. Parcel 2. R-3 (Multiple Dwelling) zone: The past 713 feet of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 18, Township 22 North, Range 5 East of the Willamette i°Ieridian, LESS the North 404.25 feet thereof. Parcel 3. R-4 (Multiple Dwelling) zone: The Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 181) Township 22 :forth, Range 5 East of the Willamette Meridian, LESS the East 460 feet thereof. -1- Vol, 1 2 3 4 5 g 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 j 17 j 18 19 20 21 22 23 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Parcel 4. 14-1 (Light Industrial) zone: The Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 18, Township 22 North, Range 5 East of the Willamette Meridian, LESS the North 404.25 feet thereof and LESS the East 713 feet thereof, all situate in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the comprehensive planning map of the Citv of. Kent or upon an addendur thereto, the zoning of said four parcels of property as provided for in Section 1 of this Ordinance. Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon the comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum thereto, the copy of said map or addendum shall be filed with the County Auditor of King County, Washington, and the City Clerk of the city of Kent be and he is hereby authorized and directed to record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of King County and pay the filing fee therefor.
