Alii ORDINAdCE of the City of Kent vacating, certain real property abuttin7 upon a city street or alley within the city limits of the Cite of }Cent. iL�EAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the following described real property located in the City of Kent County of King, State of "Jashin?ton and which is more fully described hereafter, have petitioned the Kent City Council to vacate said real Property, and diER.7AS, thereafter the Kent City Council did by Reso- lution Iio. 52.4, passed the 20th day of July, 1964, fix a time when said petition would be heard and determined by the Kent City Council or a committee thereo-1-7, to -wit: londay, the 17th day of August, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock `P.'I. in the Council chambers of the City ',"all of the Citv of Kent, i.Iashinq- ton, a date which was not more than sixty (60) days nor less than twenty (2.0) days after the date of the passage of said Resolution, and S•Ir7IR7AS, after the passafie of said Resolution, the City Cleric of the City of Kent gave twenty (20) days notice of the pendency of said petition by a written notice posted in three of the most-')ublic places in the Cite of Kent ann -a like notice in a conspicuous place on the street or alley sought to be vaca- ted; said notice containing the information required therein by the laws of the State of 1,7ashin�ton and the Ordinances of the City of Kent, and WHEPEAS, said petitioners when filing their said peti- tion with the Kent City Clerk accom7an.ied it with the required street and alley vacation per7iit ::fee of ;50.00, and `11i-i.EREAS, the Kent City Engineer has processed said petition and secured the technical facts pertinent to the ques- tion o.f said vacation which includes a sketch of the proposed vacation and also written approval or rejection thereof by the water,, sewer and street departments of the City of 'Cent, and 00 1 N 2 m 3 C`u 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ' hereafter. sa ;TiIEREAS, tid petition along with said technical information, was referred to the planning commission of the City of Kent for consideration at its next re7ular meeting; said planning commission recommending favorably on said n_etition, and TJT .,MEREAS, thereafter the hearing on said oetition in the Council Chambers of the Cit -T T1_11 of the City of Kent at 8:00 o'clock p.pq. on the 17th day of August, 1964, and it appearing further that the granting of said petition for the vacation of said real Property will not be a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public or to any other persons usin3 the streets and alleys in the City of Kent, TJashinrI,ton.
