An Ordinance relating to planning and zoning for land, use and development in the City of Kent and zoning pursuant to City Ordinance No. 1071 as amended, certain land annexed to the City of Kent as unzoned as R-1 zone (single family residential) zone. WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed to the City of Kent unzoned,and WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071 as amended, the City Council, after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned R-1 (single family residence) and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon the 6th day of July, 1964, hold a public hearing on said recom- mendation in so far as it related to said certain land, said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do ordain as follows: Section 1. The following described land situated in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and presently unzoned, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Tract 37, said corner being the southeast corner of Tract 38, both in R.O. Smith's Orchard Tracts Addition to Kent, as recorded in Volume 12 of Plats, at Page 27, records of King County, Washington; thence north along the west line of said Tract 37 to a point which is 400 feet south of the northwest corner thereof; thence east parallel to the north line of said Tract 37, a distance of 150 feet; thence north parallel to the west line of said Tract 37, a distance of 275 feet; thence west parallel to the north line of said Tract 37, a distance of 30 feet; thence north parallel to the west line of said Tract 37, a dis- tance of 155 feet to the centerline of Moltke Road (South 248th Street); thence east along the center- line of Moltke Road (South 248th Street) to an in- tersection with the east line, projected north of saidTract 37; thence south along the line of said Tract 37 to the southeast corner thereof; thence west along the south line of said Tract 37 to the Point of Beginning. is hereby zoned as R-1 (single family residential) zone. }; VO 6 PAGE Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the 1 comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an adden- 2 dum thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in 3 Section 1 of this Ordinance. 4 Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon the 5 comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon the g addendum thereto, the copy of said map or addendum shall be 7 filed with the County Auditor of King County, Washington and 8 the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized 9 and directed to record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of 10 King County. i/ 11 Section 4.
