AN ORDINANCE declaring abandonment of a
certain easement to the original grantor's,
their heirs and assigns.
WHEREAS, by a deed for right of way, dated April 26,
1910, JOHN E. JONES and C. L. JONES, his wife granted to the
City of Kent, Washington, the following described real property.
for use by said City as a pipe line right of way for municipal
purposes, and
WHEREAS, said deed contained a recitation which states
that "Abandonment of the said lands for the purposes herein
contemplated for a period of one year, shall cause the same to
revert to the owner of the abutting lands.", and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Kent has ad -
wised the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Kent that
said land use has been abandoned for more than a year and is
no longer of present or prospective use for municipal purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent
do ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the following described real property
located in the County of King, State of Washington, and more
fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north and south line
between the S.W. 1/4 of the S.W. 1/4 and the S.E.
1/4 .of the S.W. 1/4 of section 30 in township 22
north, range 6 east, which is 180 feet north of
the south line of said section, thence easterly
350 feet, thence south 530 east 300 feet more or
less to a point in the south line of said section
which is point is 600 feet east from the S.W.
corner of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.W. 1/4 of said
section 30.
is hereby found to have been abandoned by the City of Kent,
Washington, for more than one year, and is no longer of any
present or prospective value to the City of Kent for municipal
purposes.

Section 2. That in accordance with the terms of
the deed conveying the said real property described in
Section 1. of this Ordinance to the City of Kent, said
real propertis herewith conveyed and reverted to the owner

Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Kent
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to record this
Ordinance with the County Auditor of King County and pay the
filing fee therefore.
