ORDINANCE NO. I z'�k
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent approving and
accepting a Quit Claim Deed for park and play-
ground purposes.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as
follows:
Section 1. That a certain Quit Claim Deed made and
executed by THE CITY OF SEATTLE, a municipal corporation of
the first class of the State of Washington, on the 15th day
of May, 1964, conveying certain land therein described, to
the City of Kent, Washington, for park and playground pur-
poses only, be and it is hereby approved.and acceptedbythe
City of Kent, Washington for said park and playground pur-
poses, subject to the following conditions:
That the said real property hereinafter described shall
be used hereafter by the City of Kent, Washington for park
and playground purposes only and that if the same not so be
used, it shall revert to the Grantor, the City of Seattle,
Washington, without suit or hindrance.
Section 2. That the land in said Deed is located in
the County of King, State of Washington and more fully des-
cribed as follows:
The Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 27, Township 22
North, Range 4 East, W.M., less county road
(containing 10 acres more or less) situated in
the County of King, State of Washington, reserv-
ing, however, from this conveyance unto The City
of Seattle, its successors and assigns, all oils,
gases, coal, ores, minerals and fossils together
with the right to explore for, develop, mine and
remove the same.
Section 3. That upon the passage, approval and publi-
cation in due regular form of this Ordinance, the City Clerk
is hereafter directed to cause the Ordinance to be recorded,

together with said Deed, in the office of the County Auditor
of King County and pay the recording fee therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law provided.
