AN ORDINANCE adopting by reference the "Standard
Specifications for Municipal Public Works Con-
struction, 1963 Edition", establishing standard
specifications for Kent Public Works, such as
streets, sewers, water distribution systems and
other facilities.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. The following Code, together with all amend-
ments and additions thereto, when printed, and when three
copies thereof are filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Kent, is hereby adopted by reference: "Standard Specifica-
tions for Municipal Public Works Construction, 1963 Edition"
for the Washington State Chapter of the American Public Works
Association.
Section 2. It is intended in adopting said Code, that
the provisions therein shall control the construction of Kent
public works, such as atreets, sewers, water distribution
systems and other such facilities.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval
and publication, as by law provided.
