ORDINANCE NO. T 2
An Ordinance relating to planning and zoning
for land use and development in the .City of
Kent, and rezoning a portion of certainland,
originally zoned by the City by Ordinance No.
1071, as M -A (Industrial -Agricultural) -zone to
M-1 (Ukb?� ;ndustrial) Zone.
WHEREAS, certain land was originally tonod by the City
of Kent by Ordinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, entitled "Zoni
Ordinance for the City of Kent, Washington", passed by the City
Council on the 19th day of September, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the effective date of the '.zoning of said certain
land by said Ordinance No. 1071, and the effective date of said
Ordinance No. 1071, itself, was the 3rd day of October, 1960; and
WHEREAS, as required by Section 10.16.02 of Ordinance No.
1071, the City Council- upon recommendation of the City Planning
Commission and upon its own motion, after public hearing, and
referral to and report from the Planning Commission, after a
study -conducted by the Planning Commission of the City of Kent,
recommending that certain of the lands zoned by said Ordinance
No. 1071 be rezoned from M -A (Industrial -Agricultural) Zoning, to
a M-1 (Uftt Industrial) Zone, and
WHEREAS, thereafter the City Council of the City of Kent
did, upon the 16th day of December, 1963, hold a public hearing
upon said recommendations insofar as they related to said certain
lands, said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do
ordain as follows:
Section 1.:- That the following described land, ditu�ted
in the City of Kent, in the County of King, State of Washington,
and presently zoned as M -A (Industrial -Agricultural) Zone, and
more particularly described as follows:
