An Ordinance of the City of Kent
establishing the speed limit on
James Street from Woodford Avenue
to Surnrit.it Avenue at 35 miles per
hour.
THE CITY COUdCIL OF I' E CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby determined on the basis of an
engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted
by State law upon James Street from. Woodford Avenue to Summit
Avenue in the City of Kent, �q'ashin€;ton, is less than is necess-
ary for safe operation of vehicles thereon and it is hereby
declared that the speed limit on said street as aforesaid shall
be 35 stiles per hour at all times.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days after its passa-,-,e, approval and publication
as by law irovided.
