ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent providing
for the condemnation of certain land necess-
ary to be acquired for the purpose of obtain-
ing Road for access and egress to City Park
property and providing for the payment of said
land.
The City Council of the City of Kent do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That the City attorney for the City of
Kent, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to purchase
and or institute and prosecute to determination in the Superior
Court of the State of Washington, in the County of King, an
action in the name of the City of Kent for the condemnation
and acquisition of the following described land situated in
the County of King, State of Washington, for the purpose of
obtaining a road for ingress and egress to city park property
in the City of Kent, to wit:
The East 60 feet of a portion of the North
59 feet of the South 978.47 feet of the SE
1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 135 T22N, R4E,
W.M., the East line of which is 581.60 feet
East, and parallel to the East Line of Central
Avenue
and
The East 60 feet of a portion of the North
59 feet of the South 860.47 feet of the SE
1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 13, T22N9 R4E,
W.M., the East line of which is 581.60 feet
East of and parallel to the East Line of
Central Avenue.
and
The East 60 feet of a portion of the North
59 feet of the South 919.47 feet of the SE
1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 139 T22N9 R4E,
W.M., the East line of which is 581.60 feet
East, and parallel to the East line of Cen-
tral Avenue.
Section 2. That the acquiring of said land for the
purpose herein mentioned is for a public use and neccessity.

Section 3. The payment for
the property herein des -

cribed to be acquired shall be made
from the current expense

fund of the City of Kent.

Section 4. Nothing in this
Ordinance shall be construed

as a waiver by the City of Kent of
its right to decline to

take and pay for said property after
the amount of damages

has been ascertained and within the
time allowed by law.

Section 5. This Ordinance
shall take effect and be
9
in force five (5) days after its passage, approval, and pub -
10
lication, as provided by law.
