An Ordinance of the City of Kent approving and
accepting a drainage release.
The City Council of the City of Kent do ordain as follows
Section 1. That a certain drainage release of the Carrol
Mortgage Company, made and executed on the 1st day of July, 19630
granting to the City of Kent a drainage release, consenting to
the natural flow of surface water from a plat known as valley
Crest to be carried in its natural channel across the property
hereinafter described of the Carroll Mortgage Company, and
promising to hold the City of Kent blameless for any damage that
may be caused to said Carroll Mortgage Company by said drainage
flow, and further stipulating that said conveyance, grant and
drainage release shall be covenant running with the land and
shall be binding upon all parties and their heirs and assigns
forever. It is hereby approved and accepted by the City of Kent.
Section 2. That the land in said drainage release, as
set forth in Section 1 hereof, is located in the County of King,
State of Washington, and more fully described as follows:
The westerly 120 feet of the south 60 feet
of the southwest 1/4 of the northwest 1/2 of the
southwest 1/49 Section 180 Twsp. 22 North, Range
5, EWM, in King County, Washington.
Section 3. That upon passage, approval and publication
in due and regular form of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is
hereby directed to cause the Ordinance to be recorded, together
with said drainage release in the Office of the County Auditor
of the County of King, and pay the recording fee therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law provided.
