An Ordinance of the City of Kent vacating
a portion of a street
WHEREAS, the owners of all of the property abutting the portion
f street sought to be vacated, as hereinafter described, have
etitioned for a vacation thereof, and the City Council of the
ity of Kent having on the 17th day of September, 1962, passed a
esolution setting the time and place for hearing on said petition
o vacate, and it appearing to the Council that due, timely and
ectal notice of the pendency of said petition, and the time and
10 place for hearing thereon, has been given as required by law, and
11 Itapplaering that said having was opened on the date set therefor,
12 o -wit: the 15th day of October, 1962, a day more than twenty days
13 nd less than sixty days after the adoption of the resolution for
14 earing, and it further appearing that the granting of said pet:Utio

or vacation of said portion of street will not be a mance or
16 nconvenience to the travelling public, or to any other persons
17 sing the streets and alleys in the City of Kent,
18 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN
19 s follows:
20 Section 1. That the following described portion of the following
21 described street, to -wit:
22 That portion of a certain unnamed street lying west of
Alvord Ave., between Blocks 1 and 3, Marlowe's Addn,
23 as recorded in Vol. 44 of Plats, page 94, Records of
King County, Washington,

e and it is hereby vacated.
25 Section 2. That the portion of said street hereby vacated shall
26 evert to and become the property of the abutting owners, as by law
27 frovided.
28 Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication as by law
29 rovided.
