An Orninance relating to planning and
for land use and development in
the City of Kent, and rezonin6 certain
lands in said city.
WHEREAS, upon study and recommendation of the Planning Commis -
ion of the City of Kent, as provided in Section 10.15.01 of
rdinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, after application therefor
y property owners, the rezoning cif certain property within the
ity of Kent was pro.csed; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with said Section 10.16.01 of said
rdinance No. 1071, public hearing was had upon said proposed
-ezone on the ;-5th day of NoVember,1c62, after proper public notice
�f said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council as required by the laws of the State
>f Washington and by Ordinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, has
;onsidered the proposed change in zone in relation to the Com

)rehensive Plan of the City heretofore adopted by Resolution No.
31 of said City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the followin- described property in the City
f Kent, County of King, State of Washington, to -wit:
The north 250 ft, of the South 423.80 ft, of thq West 200 ft. o
that portion of Samuel W. Russell Donation Claimin Sec. 24,
T 22N., R4E, WM, lying; East of PSH No. 5; ALSO
The East 100 ft, of the West 300 ft. of that portion of Samuel
W. Russell Donation Claim in Sec. 24, T22N, R4E, W.M. lying
South of the South line of the Plat of Kent as recorded in Vol.
2 of Plats, Page 165, Records of King County, Washington,
Exeept the South 173.80 It. thereof;
e and it is hereby changed from its existing zoning classification
of. C-3 zone to M-1 Zone.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Kent be and
e is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the Zoning
ap of the City of Kent the change of zoning of said property, as
rovided for in Section 1. hereof.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and he
