ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance relating to planning and
zoning for land use and development in
the City of Kent, and rezoning certain
lands in said city.
WHEREAS, upon study and recommendation of the Planning Commis-
sion of the City of Kent, as provided in Section 10.16.01 of
inance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, after application there -
or by property owners, the rezoning of certain property within
City of Kent was proposed; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with said Section 10.16.01 of said
rdinance No. 1071, public hearing was had upon said proposed
zone on the 5th day of November, 1962, after proper public notice
f said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council as required by the laws of the State
f Washington and by Ordinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, has
onsidered the proposed change in zone in relation to the Com-
rehensive Plan of the City heretofore adopted by Resolution No.
31 of said City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT do ordain as follows:

f Kent, County of King, State of Washington, to -wit:
That portion of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 and that portion of
the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 11, T22N,R4E,WM., beginning
at a point in center of O'Brien Road (S.2126h) 1308.63 ft. west-
erly of center of SSH No. 2-M; thence continuing westerly along
said center line 1838.49 ft.; thence Nl018120" E 1226.90 ft.; th
east 1837.35 ft.; thence S1018120"W 1316 ft. to the TPOB.,
e and it is hreby changed from its existing zoning classification
f M -A (Industrial - Agricultural) Zone to M-1 (light Industrial)
one.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Kent be and
is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the Zoning
p of the City of Kent the change of zoning of said property, as
ovided for in Section 1. hereof.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and he

Is hereby authorized and directed to record this ordinance with the
ounty Auditor of King County.
Sectinn 4. This ordinance shall take efbct and be in force
five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication as by
law provided.
