An Ordinance relating to planning and
zoning for land use and development in
the City of Kent, and zoning certain land
annexed by the City by Ord nce No.1124,
"C-3 (General Commercial)" and"Mobile
Home Residential (MHR)'J
WHEREAS, certain land in this ordinance hereinafter described
was annexed by the City of Kent by Ordinance No. 1124 of the City,
entitled "An Ordinance of the City of Kent, annexing to said City
certain lands contiguous thereto", passed by the City Countil and
approved.by the Mayor on the 2nd day of April, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the effective date of the annexation made by Ordinance
No. 1124 was the 15th day of April, 1962, and the effective date
�of the ordinance itself was the 10th day of April, 1962, and
WHEREAS, said„annexation ordinance was passed and said annexa-
tion became effective after the effective date of Ordinance No.
11071 of the City of Kent, known as the "Zoning Ordinance"; and
WHEREAS, as required by Section 10.16.04 of Ordinance No. 1071,
the Planning Commission of the City of Kent conducted a study and
made a report to the City Council of the CiV of Kent recommending
that certain of the lands annexed by said ordinance No. 1124 be
zoned Mobile Home Residential (MHR), and certain of the lands
annexed by said ordinance be zoned C-3 (General Commercial); and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent has heretofore by Ordinances Nos.
11132 and 1148 zoned various portions of the land, and there re-
mains the balance of the lands annexed by said Ordinance No. 1124
Ito be zoned; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon the lst
day of October, 1962, hold a public hearing upon said recommendati
land proposals to zone the lands hereinafter described; said public
hearing being held after proper public notice thereof, now, there-
fofe,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. That the following described land annexed to the
City of Kent by terms of Ordinance No. 1124 of said City, and
situated in said City in the County of King, State of Washington,

1 be and it is hereby zoned "C-3 (Beneral Commercial)":
2 The NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Lection 21, T22N,R4E., W.M.
ALSO: The N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 Sec. 21, T22N,R4E.W.M.
