An Ordinance of the City of Kent approving
and accepting dedications for public street
purposes.
The CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. That a certain Dedication dated the 17th day of
September, 1959, and a certain Dedication dated the 26th day
of July, 1962, dedicating to the City of Kent and to the public
for public street and highway purposes,and for no other purpose,
certain lands therein described, under conditions and subject to
easements and agreements as therein set forth, made by the
Northern Pacific Railway Company, a Wisconsin corporation, be and
they are hereby approved and accepted.
Section 2. That the land in said dedications described, in
King County, Washington, to -wit:
(a) The north 33 feet of the NWuNE1 of Section 24, township
22 north, range 4 east, Willamette Meridian, lying west
of the westerly boundary of North 1st Avenue as now
established; and
(b) The north 33 feet of that portion of the NE1 NW! of
Section 24, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, Willa-
mette Meridian, lying west of the former Seattle -
Tacoma Interurban Railway right of way and east of
the east line of Lincoln Avenue,
be and they are hereby added to and become a part of the street
system of the City of Kent.
Section 3. That upon the passage, approval and publication
in due and regular form of this ordinance, the City Clerk is
hereby directed to cause the ordinance to be recorded, togethT
with said dedications, in the Office of the County Auditor of
King County, and pay the recording fees therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law provide
