An Ordinance relating to planning and zoning for land use and development in the City of Kent, and rezoning certain lands in said city. WHEREAS, upon study and recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion of the City of Kent, as provided in Section 10.16.01 of Ordinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, after application there- for by property owners, the rezoning of certain property within the City of Kent was proposed; and WHEREAS, in compliance with said Section 10.16.01 of said Ordinance No. 1071, public hearing was had upon said proposed rezone on the 20th day of August, 1962, after proper public notice of said hearing; and WHEREAS, the City Council 8tB-required by the laws of the State of Washington and by Ordinance No. 1071 of the City of Kent, has considered the proposed change in zone in relation to the Com- prehensive Plan of the City heretofore adopted by Resolution No. 431 of said City; now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the following described property in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, to -wit: That portion of the S 9'(8.47 ft. of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 13, T22N,R4E,WM., lying East of the northerly production of the center line of State Street in Walmsley's Addition to Kent, as recorded in Vol. 45 of Plats, page 15,Records of King County, Washington and lying north of said Walmsley's Addition, The and it is hereby changed from its existing zoning classificatio of R-3 Zone (Multiple Dwelling Zone) to a classification of R-4 .one (Multiple Dwelling Zone). Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the Zoning Map of the City of Kent the change of zoning of said property, as provided for in Section 1. hereof. Section 3.
