WHEREAS, the owners of all u t the j,;roj;erty abutting the portior of street sought to be vacated, as hereinafter described, have petitioned for a vacation thereof, and the City Council of the City of Kent having on the loth day of April, 1962, passed a resolution setting the time and place for hearing on said petition to vacate, and it appearin6 to the Council that due, timely and legal notice of the pendency of said petition, and the time and place for hearing thereon, has been given as required by law, and it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date set therefor, to -wit: the 21st day of May, 19b2, a day more than twenty days and less than sixty days after the adoption of the resolution for hearing, and it further appearing that the granting of said peti- tion for vacation of said portion of street will not be a menace o inconvenience to the travelling public, or to any other persons using the streets and alleys in the City of Kent, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN las follows: Section.l.That the following described portion of the follow- ing described street, to -wit: That portion of the John H. Yatton Road right of way in the North 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 22, T22N, R4E.W.M., as establishe by King County Commissioner's Resolution dated November 19, 1928 and entered in Vol. 29, page 248 of the Commissioner's Records, lying westerly of the westerly right of way margin of the new Military Road (36th Ave. South) as now constructed, be and it is hereby vacated. Section 2. That -the portion of said street hereby vacated shal revert to and become the property of the abutting owners, as by la provided. Section 3.
