An Ordinance relating to panning and
zoning for land use and development in
the City of Kent, and amending subsection
(e) of Section 1. of Ordinance No. 1097,
of.said City, rezoning certain lands within
said City.
WHEREAS, upon the.19th day of June, 1961, the City Council
of the City of Kent did pass, and on said day the Mayor did approve
Ordinance No. 10971, of the City of Kent, entitled "An Ordinance
relating to planning and zoning for lan$ use and development in
the City of Kent, and rezoning certain lands within said City';
and
WHEREAS, by scrivener's error subsection (e) of Section 1
of said Ordinance incorrectly described the land intended to be
rezoned by the City Council of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend said subsection (e) to
correctly describe the land so rezoned, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as foll-Ows:
Section 1. That subsection (e) of Section 1. of said Ordina
No. 1097, passed by the City Council of the City of Kent and
approved by the Mayor on the 19th day of June, 1961, be and it
is hereby amended to read as follows:
�'{e) Lots 1 thru 5, Blk. 9 WCI Co's First Addition as
recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 97, Records of King
County, Wash., LESS the west 'j5 feet of said Lot 1,,
LESS the west 75 feet of said Lot 2, and LESS.the west
15 feet of the south 15 feet of said Lot
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Kent be
,and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the
zoning map of the City of Kent the change in zoning of said
property, as provided for in Section 1. hereof.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to record this ordinance
with the County Auditor of King County.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and -be in

force five days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as by law provided. _
