An Ordinance of the City of Kent vacating portion of State Street in McMillin's Addition to the City of Kent. WHEREAS, the owners of all of the property abutting the portion of street sought to be vacated, as hereinafter described, have petitioned for a vacation thereof, and the City Council of the City of Kent having on the 3i�d day of April, 1961, passed a resolution setting the time and place for hearing on said 11petition to vacate, and it appearing to Council that due, timely a and legal notice of the pendency of said petition, and the time Mand place for hearing thereon, has been given as required by law, nand it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date set f'therefor, to -wit the 1st day of May, 1961; a day more than twenty 11days and less than sixty days after the adoption of the resolution] ' I 'for hearing,and it further appearing that the granting of said petition for the vacation of said portion of street will not be AI 'a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public, or to any other persons using the streets and alleys in the City of Kent, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. That subject to the reservations set forth in (Section 2. hereof, the following described portion of State Street din McMillin's Addition to the City of Kent, is hereby vacated: That portion of State Street in McMillin's Addtion to the City of Kent, lying North of Pioneer Street, as now established, bounded on the west by Lots 6,7,8, 9 and j! North 15 feet of 10, all in Block 5, McMillin's Addition and on the East by Tracts 3 and 4, McMillin's Addition. j Section 2. Section 3. That subject to the provisions of Section. hereof, the property hereby vacated still revert to and become the property of the abutting owners, as by law provided. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication as by law provided.
