WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent, at a regular neeting thereof on December 5th, 1960, did pass Resolution No. 436, declaring its intention to vacate a certain street or lane in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington; and WHEREAS, the City of Kent did set public hearing on its intention to vacate said street or lane for the 3rd day of January, 1961, atthe hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the ^City of Kent; and It appearing to the Council that due, timely and legal notice of the pendency of the hearing on said resolution, and the time and place for hearing thereon, have been given as required by law, and it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date set therefor, to -wit, the 3rd day of January, 1961, a day more than twenty (20) days and less than sixty (60) days after the adoption of the resolution declaring intention to vacate and settii the time for the hearing thereon; And it further appearing that the vacation of said street or lane will not be a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public, or to any other persons using the streets, lanes and alleys in the City of Kent, and that the vacation thereof fits into the general scheme and plan for the development of the City of Kent, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do ordain las follows: Section 1. That the following described street or lane is reby vacated: That certain lane extending eastward from PSH #5 and lying north of the south line of the north half of.Government Lot #1 and the south line of the north half of the northeast. quarter of the northwest quarter, all in Section 18, Township 22 North, Range 5 east W.M. .at the vacation herein effected is intended to complete that certain vacation of the lane, the south one-half of which was vacated under Ordinance No. 975 of the City of Kent, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of Kent vacating street or lane", passed( r - O in CO N O N "on the 17th day of March, 1958, and approved by the Mayor on tie h, -1958. Section 2. That the property hereby vacated shall revert to and become the property of the owners of property abutting on the north, as by law provided. Section 3.
