HomeMy WebLinkAbout1081ORDINANCE N0. An Ordinance of the City (if KCnt approving and accepting deeds for street purposes. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN as foll06 : Section 1. That that certain deed made and executed by E. A. STANDAERT and MARY STANDAERT, his wife, on the 16th day of December, 1960, and that certain deed made and executed by ALBERT W. LEBER, d/b/a Leber Farms, on the 8th day of December, i960, both of which deeds conveyed certain land for public street purposes, be and they are hereby approved and accepted. Section 2. That the land described in the said deeds shall be and it is hereby added to and becomes a part of the street system of the City of Kent. Section 3. That the land in both of said deeds described is in King County, Washington, and is described as follows: That portion of Government Lot 3, in Sec. 24, T22 N., R4E, W.M., described as follows:Beginning at the NE corner of that tract of land conveyed to William Tews, and Millie Tews, his wife, by deed recorded under Auditor's File Number 2670104, in Volume 1500 of Deeds, page 204, Records of King County, Washingtbn, and run thence S89002'20"W, 60.0 feet; thence North 0 57'40" W, parallel to the West line,of State Aid Road #69, also known as -Secondary State #2M,110.0 ft.; thence North 30000110"E, 58.31 ft., to a point in a line drawn parallel to and 30.0' west of the west line of State Aid Road #69; thence North 0°57'40" W. to the north line of Gov't Lot 3 in Sec. 24, T22N,R4E.,W.M.; thence southeasterly, along said north line of Gov't Lot 3 to its point of intersection with the West line of State Aid Road 7f69; thence South 00°57'40" East, along said west line State Aid Road #69 to the point of beginning. LESS that portion lying in the County Road known as Frager Road. Containing 0.4 acres, more or less. Section 4. That upon the passage, approval and publication in due and regular form of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be duly certified according to law and thereupon record the same with the original deeds hereinabove referred to in the Office of the County Auditor of King County and to pay the recording fee therefor. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force Ifive (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication �jas by law provided.
