ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance Iof the'City of Kent annexing
to said city certain lands contiguous thereto.
WHEREAS, the owners of not less than 75% in value, according
to the assessed valuation for general taxation of certain lands
situated in King County, Washington, and more particularly in ..`
this ordinance hereinafter described, have filed with the City
Council of the City of Kent their petition in writing to have
annexed to said City said described land, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent, on the 17th
day of October, 1960, fixed a time and place for public hearing
upon such petition, to -wit, the City Council Chambers of the
City of Kent, on the 7th day of November, 1960, of which hearing I
due notice was published and posted in the manner and form and
for the time required by law, and
WHEREAS, upon said public hearing the 7th day of November,
196o,it'6ppeared to the City Council that the said petition
meets the requirements specified by law and the land sought to
be annexed is contiguous to the City of Kent and has not hereto=
fore been incorporated in or as a city or town,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDA
as follows:
Section 1. That there shall be annexed to the City of Kent
the following described land situated in the County of King,
State of Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Section 27, Township
22 north, range 4 East, W.M., thence south along the east
line of said Section 27 to the northeast corner of the southe
quarter of said Section 27; thence westalong the north line
of the said southeast quarter to the center line of the
Star Lake -Lake Fenwick Rd.; thence southerly along the center
line of the Star Lake -Lake Fenwick Rd. to the south line
of Section 27, Township 22 north, Range 4 East W.M.;thence
west along the south line of said Section 27 to.the southwest
corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 27; Thence
north along the west line of said southeast quarter to the
southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the southwest
quarter of Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 East W.M.:
thence west along the south line of the northeast quarter of
said southwest quarter to the northwest quarter of said southv
quarter to the southwest garner of the northwest quarter of ss
southwest quarter;thence north along the west line of said
southwest quarter to the northwest corner thereof; thence
east along the north line of the southwest quarter and the
north line of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter
of said Section 27 to the southwest corner of the southeast

quarter of the northeast quarter of said section 27; thence
north along the west line of the said southeast quarter of tle
northeast quarter tO the northwest corner thereof; thence west
along the south line of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of said section 27 to the southwest corner thereof;then
north along the west line of the said northwest quarter of tie
i northeast quarter to the center line of the Reith Road;thence
northerly along the center line of Reith Road to the north

ALSO: that portion of the southeast quarter of the, southeast
5 quarter of Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4East,W.M.,
lying west of the Star Lake -Lake Fenwick Road; ALSO the west
one-half of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, W.M.; ALSO that
7 portion of the east one-half of the northeast,.quarter of the
foutheast quarter of Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 E.
W.M. lying west of the center line of the Star Lake -Lake Fenwick
Rd.;also known as Lots 25 through 54, inclusive, Lake Fenwick
Tracts, untecorded;ALSO: the east one-half of the -northeast
li0 quarter of Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 East,W.M.;
ALSO: that portion of the northwest quarter of the northeast
�) quarter of Section 27, Township 22 North, Range 4 East W.M.,
11 lying east of the Reith.Road; ALSO any street included within
1!the body of this annexation, but not specifically described.

Section 2. That upon the is day of

11nnexation of the said property shall be effective and the said
iroperty shall become a part of the City of Kent, subject to all
lfhe City laws and ordinances then and thereafter in effect
l�xcept as otherwise provided by law.
