AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent
vacating a certain street within
the City Limits of the City of
Kent.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent initiated vacation
proceedings upon the street hereinafter described pursuant to the
provisions of Chapter 156, Session Laws of 1957 (R.C.W. Chapter
35.79), pursuant to resolution duly passed by said Council in
regular meeting assembeled on the 19th day of September, 1960,
set by resolution the time and place for hearing on said resolution
to vacate and it appearing to the Council that due, timely and
legal notice of the pendency of said resolution and the time and
place for hearing thereon has been given as required by law, and
it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date set therefor,
to -wit: the 17th day of October, 1960, a day more than twenty
days and less than sixty days after the adoption of the resolution
for hearing, and,
WHEREAS, it further appearing that the vacation of said street
Iwill not be a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public or
Ito any other persons using the streets of the City of Kent,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do ordain
las follows:
Section 1. That the following described street in the City of
t, Washington, is hereby vacated:
The North 15 feet of the SEI— of the SWC, of
the SEI of Section 19, Township 22 North,
Range 5 E. W.M., and,
The South 15 feet of the West 728 feet of
the N2 of the SWI of the SEI of Section 19,
Township 22 North, Range 5 E.W.M.
Section 2. That the. property hereby vacated shall revert to
nd become the property of the abutting owners, as by law provided.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication
as by law provided.
