ORDINANCE NO. 1073
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF KENT , WASHINGTON FIXING THE
TAX LEVY THEREIN FOR THE YEAR 1961.
THE CITY OF KENT CITY COUNCIL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 Levy :
There shall be and there is hereby levied against the property
in the City of Kent, Washington,a municipal tax for the year 1961 for
the purpose and in the sums following, to -wit,
For the Current Expense Fund, for the purpose of paying the
general expenses of the municipal government.

For the Library Fund, for the purpose of maintaining the Library.
.00225 26,068-40
For the Park Fund for the purpose of maintaining the Parks.
.00175 20,275-42
For the Street Fund, for the purpose of maintaining the public Streets
.006 69,515.72
Library Bond, Interest and Redemption.
.001 11,585.95
Total .016
185,375.25
Section 2, Effective Date :
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days from
and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed this 3 day of October, 196.
