WHEREAS, the owners of all of the property abutting the p tion of the street sought to be vacated as hereinafter described have petitioned for vacation thereof, and the City Oduncil of the City of Kent, having on the 15th day of Febrba ry, 1960, passed a resolution setting the time and place for hearing on said petition to vacate, and it appearing to the Council that due, timely and legal notice of the pendency of said petition, and the time and place for hearing thereon has been given as required by law, and it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date set therefor, to -wit, the 21st day of March, 1960, a day more than twenty (20) days and less than sixty (60) days after the adoption of the resolution for hearing, and it further appearing that the granting of said petition for the vacation of said portion of said street will not be a menace or incon- venience to the travelling public, or to ay other persons using the streets and alleys in the City of Kent, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the following described portion of East Saar Street is hereby vacated: All that portion of East Saar Street lying west of Railroad Avenue South and east of the Northern Pacific Railway right of way, in Block 2, W.C.I.Co.ts First Addtion to Kent; Section 2. That said property hereby vacated shall revert to and become the property of the abutting owners, as by law pro- vided. Section 3. This ordinance stall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after its passa`g­e-; o al and publication, as by law prpv�tded.
