An Ordinance of the City of Kent
approving a plat of portions of land
in said City under the name
ARMSCREST NO. 3.
WHEREAS, C. J. HAUGE and GLENN B. ARMSTRONG, d/b/a
UGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, have submitted to the city a proposed
lat of the following described and in said City:
That portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of section 19, township 22 north, range 5 east W.M.,
described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of
said subdivision; thence south 2028'48" west along the west
line thereof 655 feet; thence south 88031'56" east, parallel
to the north line thereof 180 feet to the True Point of Beginn'
Thence south 2028►48" west 116.36 feet to a point on a line
36 feet north of and parallel to the south line of the north
half of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
said subdivision;thence south 88012102" east along said line
150 feet; thence south 2028,48" west 211.65 feet to a point
on -a line 14 feet south of and.parallel to the north line of
the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said sub-
division; thence north 88008'03" west along said line 107 feet;
thence south 2o28148" West 179.05feet; thence south 880oo,05"
east, parallel to the south line of said subdivision 31 feet;
thence south 2028'48" west 130 feet to the south line of said
subdivision; thence south 88000,05" east along said south
line 236 feet;thence north 2028148" east 639.66 feet; thence
north 88031156" west 310.02 feet to the True Point of
Beginning.
Land the said matter coming on for hearing pursuant to notice of
said hearing, duly posted in the form and manner and for the time
required by law; the City Council after due consideration thereof
finds that said plat conforms to all legal requirements, that due
provision has been made for all streets and alleys and for other
public necessities and conveniences;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
IN as follows:
Section 1. That said Armscrast No. 3 be and it is hereby
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to have approval thereof duly inscribed thereon under their
proper official signatures and with the seal of said City.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days after its passage, app oval and publ ation, as by
Law provided.
