AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, repealing, with the exception of the
Ordinance establishing the salary of Kent
City Councilman, all Ordinance pertaining to
salaries for Officers, Department Heads and
Employees of the City of Kent and establishing
the method by which said salaries of said
Officers, Department Heads and Employees shall
be determined,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The following Kent City Ordinances are here-
by repealed, to -wit:
Ordinance 0.729 s 1 -- 1942 (Mayor's Salary) ;
Ordinance 0.836 s 1 -- 1950 (City Clerk's Salary);
Ordinance 0.729 s 1, as amended by 0.112 s 1 -- November
20, 1961 (Treasurer's Salary);
Ordinance 0.1054 s 1, as amended by ).1177; March 18,
1963 ( City Attorney's Salary)
Ordinance 0.685 s 1 part --1937; 0.729 s3--1942 (defining
method of paying and establishing Officers' salaries);
Ordinance 0.748 s3--1945 (All other Officers and city
employees' salaries).
Section 2. With the exception of the salaries of the
members of the Kent City Council, the salaries and compensation of
all Officers, Department Heads and employees of the City of Kent
shall be that as established in the salary schedule, as reflected
in the annual budget Ordinance adopted by the Mayor and the City
Council of the City of Kent.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided - aw.
