AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington, vacating a portion of an alley in Clark's Second Addition to the City of Kent. WHEREAS a proper application was filed for the vaca- tion of a public alley in the City of Kent; and WHEREAS thereafter, the Kent City Council did, by resolution fix a time when said petition would be heard and deter- mined by the Kent City Council or a committee thereof, to -wit: Monday, May 21, 1979, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Kent, Washington; and WHEREAS after the passage of said resolution, the City Clerk of the City of Kent gave twenty (20) days notice of the pen- dency of said petition by a written notice posted in three (3) of the most public places in the City of Kent and a like notice in conspicuous places on the alley sought to be vacated; said notice containing the information required therein by the Laws of the State of Washington and the ordinances of the City of Kent; and WHEREAS the Kent Planning Director has processed said petition and secured the technical facts pertinent to the question of said vacation which includes a sketch of the proposed vacation and also written approval or rejection thereof by the water, sewer and street departments of the City of Kent; and WHEREAS the hearing on said petition was held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the 21st day of May, 1979, and it appearing furth that the granting of said petition for the vacation of said alley will not be a menace or inconvenience to the traveling public or to any other persons using the streets and alleys of the City of Kent, Washington, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: J L0 00 O Ln CDO Section 1. The following described street within the city limits of Kent, Washington, and which is more fully described herewith: The alley which lies between Lots 3 and 4 on the north and Lots 5 and 6 on the south of Plot 5, Clark's Second Addition to the City of Kent. is hereby vacated, reserving, however, an easement for sanitary sewers and storm drainage. Section 2. No vested rights shall be affected by the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 3.
