AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to animals, estab-
f�j 1 lishing a leash law for the City of Kent,
(� r and amending Section 4(a) of Ordinance
" 1321 and Section 9.16.16(1) of the Kent y9
City Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 4(a) of Ordinance 1321 of the City
�of Kent which reads as follows:
"Section 4. Control of Animals. It shall be unlawful
for the owner or keeper:
(a) to permit an animal to run at large with-
in the City of Kent at any time without a
license as provided by this Ordinance."
lis hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. Control of Animals. It shall be unlawful
for the owner or keeper;
(a) to permit an animal to run at large with-
in the City of Kent."
Section 2. The amendment shall appear in the Kent City
Code and be codified as Section 9.16.16(1) thereof.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law.
