AN
ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Section 2 of Ordinance
2122 of the City of Kent.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 2122 of the City of
Kent and which reads as follows:
"Section 2. The City also directs the King County
Assessor to collect for and on behalf of the City
of Kent, the sum of $51,052.86, that being the
sum due and owing to the City of Kent by Burling-
ton Northern Railway Company for omitted assess-
ments dating back to the year 1973."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. The City also directs the King County
Assessor to collect for and on behalf of the City
of Kent, the sum of $51,052.86, that being the
sum due and owing to the City of Kent as a result
of the Burlington Northern decision for omitted
assessments dating back to the year 1973."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion as provided by law.
