AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Ordinance 2122 of the
City of Kent and adding a new Section 2
thereto.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 2122 of the City of Kent is here-
by amended by adding a new Section 2 thereto, which section shall
read as follows:
"Section 2. The City also directs the King County
Assessor to collect for and on behalf of the City
of Kent, the sum of $51,052.86, that being the sum
due and owing to the City of Kent by Burlington
Northern Railway Company for omitted assessments
dating back to the year 1973."
Section 2. Section 2 of Ordinance 2122 be and hereby is
renumbered and shall now be considered as Section 3 of said a-
mended ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
