AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, creating a special revenue
fund of the City of Kent, to be known as
the Kent Commons Operating Fund, provid-
ing for administration of said fund by
the Park and Recreation Department, and
providing for payment into and withdraw-
als from said fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby created a special revenue
fund of the City of Kent to be known as the Kent Commons Operating
Fund, hereinafter called "the Fund".
Section 2. The Fund shall be administered by the Park
and Recreation Department of the City of Kent.
Section 3. Payments into the Fund shall be from the in-
come derived from the operation of the Kent Commons, the multi-
purpose facility of the City of Kent, including but not limited to
lease and rental payments, reimbursement by tenants of Centrex
(telephone) charges, recreation fees, grants, donations, interest
on investments, administrative charges, and income from coin op-
erated equipment.
Section 4. Withdrawals from the Fund shall be for the
sole purpose of paying operating costs of the Kent Commons and
shall be accomplished in the same manner as withdrawals from any
other fund of the City.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law.
