/2 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
O' Washington, amending Section 1 of Ordinance
2022 relating to certificates of occupancy
issued under the Uniform Building Code, and
adding a new sub -section f. to Section 1.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 2022 is hereby a-
mended by adding an additional section to be designated as sub-
section f. and which shall read as follows:
f. Section 306(c) shall be amended to read
as follows:
"After final inspection when it is found
that the building or structure complies
with the provisions of this Code, and
with all other applicable codes, ordi-
nances, regulations or requirements of
the City, the Building Official shall
issue a Certificate of Occupancy which
shall contain the following:
(1) The building permit number.
(2) The address of the building.
(3) The name and address of the owner.
(4) A description of that portion of
the building for which the certif-
icate is issued.
(5) A statement that the described por-
tion of the building complies with
the requirements of this Code for
group and division of occupancy and
the use for which the proposed oc-
cupancy is classified.
(6) The name of the Building Official,
the Public Works Director, the Plan-
ning Director and the Fire Marshal
or their designated alternate."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
