AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, establishing a special check-
ing account to be known as the City of
Kent Parks Program Fee Clearing Account,
providing for payments into and disburse-
ments from the account and designating the
persons authorized to issue checks against
the account.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby established a special
checking account to be known as the City of Kent Parks Program
Fee Clearing Account.
Section 2. Funds in the account shall be used sole-
ly for the refund of program fees and other associated fees col-
lected by the Kent Parks and Recreation Department.
Section 3. Funds shall be deposited into the account
on a semi-monthly basis or upon presentation of a purchase order
from the parks department. The amount deposited should be only
that amount necessary to cover payment of refunds in accordance
with the purchase orders from the park department.
Section 4. The City Administrator, City Finance
Director and the Supervisor of Treasury Accounting are hereby
designated as those persons with authority to issue checks against
the account. Two signatures shall be required on each check is-
sued.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
