AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, fixing the tax levy therein for
the year 1978.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. LEVY. There shall be and there is hereby
levied against the property in the City of Kent, Washington, a
municipal tax for the year 1978 for the purpose and in the sums
following, to -wit:
For the Current Expense Fund, for the purpose of paying
the general expenses of the municipal government:

$ 3.0481 per $1,000 of
assessed valuation $2,085,000.00
City Hall
Fire Department
Library Bond Interest
& Redemption
Amount
$ 115,086.00
14,823.00
39,000.00
$ 168,909.00
$2,253,909.00
PROVIDED; that the application of the general levy shall be con-
sistent with and not result in a tax revenue in excess of the
limitation imposed by RCW 84.55.010.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
