AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, adopting by reference the Uni-
form Plumbing Code - 1976 Edition; provid-
ing for filing of three (3) copies there#
with the Kent City Clerk.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHI
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There is hereby adopted by reference upon,
the effective date of this Ordinance and upon the filing of three'
(3) copies thereof with the Kent City Clerk, that certain Code
!known as Uniform Plumbing Code - 1976 Edition.
Section 2. In the event that the provisions of Chapter
11 "Building Sewers" are inconsistent with the provisions of the
codes or regulations of any other jurisdiction which might be
administering the construction and/or maintenance of sewer systems
within the City, then in that event the codes or regulations of
such other jurisdictions shall take precedence over said Chapter 11
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law. )
