I AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, making it illegal to park vehicles
at all times on certain portions of East
Gowe Street and East Titus, public streets
of the City of Kent; ordering the City
Traffic Engineer to supervise placement of
appropriate "No Parking Anytime" signs; and
imposing penalties and fines for violation
of the terms of the Ordinance.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. From and after the effective date of this
Ordinance, it shall be illegal to park motor or other vehicles at
any time on the following streets or portions thereof within the
City Limits:

From a point 230 feet east of the center line
of State Avenue to East Titus Street (Both sides)
East Titus Street
From East Gowe Street to a point 120 feet south-
west of the centerline of Reiten Road (South-
east side only)
From a point 120 feet southwest of the centerline
of Reiten Road to Smith Street (Both sides)
Section 2. Upon the effective date of this Ordinance
the Traffic Engineer shall supervise the placement of appropriate
"No Parking Anytime" signs on said street.
Section 3. PENALTIES. Violations of this Ordinance
shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by im-
prisonment for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine
and imprisonment.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
