AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending Section 1 of Ordinance 1605
1 relating to the salary and position of the
Mayor of the City of Kent.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
DORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 1605 which reads as
follows:
"Effective on the first day of January, 1970, the
salary of the Mayor of the City of Kent, Washing-
ton, shall be Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per
month."
is hereby•amended to read as follows:
"Effective on the First day of January, 1970, the
salary of the Mayor of the City of Kent, Washing-
ton, shall be"Six Hundred (600) Dollars per month,
said compensation reflecting the fact that the
position of Mayor is not considered to be a full
time position."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law,-
