ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, establishing the City as a Fire Dis-
trict, designating certain areas of the City
as Fire Zones, and repealing prior Ordinances.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Kent is declared to be and is
hereby established as a Fire District. The Fire District shall
contain two (2) Fire Zones, to be designated as Fire Zone No. 2
and Fire Zone No. 3, which are more particularly described as
follows:
a. Fire Zone No. 2. Starting at the center
line of South Central Avenue and Willis
Street, thence northerly along the center
line of Central Avenue to the center line
of East James Street, thence westerly
along the center line of James Street to
the center line of Washington State High-
way No. 167, thence southerly along the
center line of said Highway to the center
line of West Willis Street, thence easterly
to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
B. Fire Zone No. 3. All portions of the City
not included in Fire Zone #2 shall be in
Fire Zone #3.
Section 2. Ordinances 664, 926, 1102, 1117, 1431 and
1829 be and the same hereby are repealed in their entirety.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
