AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, fixing the tax levy therein for the
year 1974, and repealing Ordinance No. 1846.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. LEVY.
There shall be and there is hereby levied against the
property in the City of Kent, Washington, a municipal tax for the
year 1974 for the purpose and in the sums following, to -wit:
For the Current Expense Fund, for the purpose of paying
the general expenses of the municipal government:

City Hall, Fire Department,
Library Bond Interest and
Redemption $213,196,421
.72 $ 153,500
8.72 $ 1,876,709
PROVIDED; that the application of the general millage levy shall
be consistent with and not result in a tax revenue in excess of
the limitation imposed by RCW 84.55.010.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall be in force and effect five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.

Rection 3. Ordinance 1846 be and the same hereby is
repealed in its entirety.
