HomeMy WebLinkAbout1847REI ARD ` ORDINANCE NO. I gLm AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash- ington, amending Section 2 of Ordinance 618 relating to rewards. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 618 codified as Chapter 7.10.08 of the Kent City Code and which reads as follows: "REWARD OFFERED. For the better care and pro- tection of all City property from such damage, the Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to offer a reward in any sum not exceeding $25.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons found guilty of a violation of Section 7.10.04." is hereby amended to read as follows: "REWARD OFFERED. For the better care and pro- tection of all City property from such damage, the Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to offer a reward in any sum not exceeding $100.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons found guilty of a violation of Section 7.10.04." Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law. ATTEST: ROVED AS TO FORM: DONALD E.
