ORDINANCE NO. 12 q
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, fixing the tax levy therein for the
year 1974.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. LEVY.
There shall be and there is hereby levied against the
property in the City of Kent, Washington, a municipal tax for the
year 1974 for the purpose and in the sums following, to -wit:
For the Current Expense Fund, for the purpose of paying
the general expenses of the municipal government:

City Hall, Fire Department,
Library Bond Interest and
Redemption $ 213,195,421

Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be
in force and effect five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.

PASSED at a Special Meeting of the Kent City Council on
November 29, 1973, notice of which was given to the public as re-
quired by law.
