AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, approving a plat of a portion of land
in said City under the name of "Upland's West
Valley Industrial Park".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Union Pacific Land Resources Corpora-
tion, has submitted to the City of Kent a proposed plat of the
following described land, in said City, and located in the County
of,King, State of Washington, and more fully described as follows:
This plat of UPLAND'S WEST VALLEY INDUSTRIAL
PARK embraces all of vacated Mcdougall Street
(30 feet wide) in the Plat of Orillia Garden
Tracts, according to the plat recorded in
Volume 26 of Plats, page 7, records of King
County, Washington, and that portion of the
Henry Adams Donation Land Claim No. 43, lying
in Section 36, T 23 N, R 4 E, W.M., said plat
being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the south one-quarter (S 1/4)
corner of said Section 36; thence N 88°45'43"
W, along the south line of said Section 36,
a distance of 1,380.72 feet; thence N 02°44'58"
E, a distance of 372.15 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence N 88°49'10" W, a distance
of 1,162.28 feet, to a point that is 50.00
feet southeasterly of, as measured at right
angles to, the centerline of State Route
No. 181 (West Valley Highway); thence N
11123150" E, parallel with said centerline
of State Route No. 181, a distance of 2,009.73
feet, to a point that is 30.00 feet northerly
of, as measured at right angles to, the south
right-of-way margin of vacated McDougall Street
in said Plat of Orillia Garden Tracts; thence
S 88023102" E, parallel with said right-of-way
margin of vacated McDougall Street, a distance
of 1,304.05 feet to the westerly margin of the
Puget Sound Power and Light Company right-of-way;

thence S 02°44'58" W, along said right-of-way
margin, a distance of 1,738.54 feet; thence
N 87015'02" W, a distance of 32.42 feet;
thence on a curve to the right, having a
radius of 359.27 feet; the radius center of
which bears N 67053139" W, through a central
angle of 69104129" for an arc distance of
433.13 feet; thence N 88049'10" W, a distance
of 82.61 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
and said matter having come on for hearing pursuant to notice of
said hearing duly posted in the form and manner and for the time
required by law, the City Council, after due consideration there-
of, and after said hearing, held an Open Council Meeting on the
18th day of June, 1973, finding that said plat conforms to all
the legal requirements and that due provision has been made for
all streets and alleys and for other public necessities and con-
veniences.
Section 2. That said plat of Upland's West Valley
Industrial Park be and it is hereby approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are authorized and directed to have approval thereof
fully subscribed thereon under their proper official signatures
with the Seal of the City of Kent.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law.
