AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending the 1972 Budget, allowing
for a 2-1/2o salary increase for City Em-
ployees.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 1972 Budget of the City of Kent, adopt
by Ordinance 1756 be and the same hereby is amended to allow a
2-1/2% salary increase for all City Employees for the period of
October 1, 1972 through December 31, 1972 inclusive.
Section 2. The monies to pay for the salary increases
shall come from unexpended balances in Departmental Funds.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication, as provided by law.
