ORDINANCE NO. 1-79 1
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Sections 3, 4 and
6 of Ordinance No. 1140 relating to
moving buildings.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance 1140 which reads as
follows:
�( "3.8.16 INSPECTION FEE. Any applicant
�1 proposing to move any building or structure,
into or within the city shall be charged and
collected from him an inspection fee in the
amount of twenty-five dollars. Upon payment
of the above fee, the city engineer shall
notify the applicant of the date and time
of his inspection which date shall be within
fourteen days."
is hereby amended to read as follows:

"3.8.20 PLANS FILED WITH ENGINEER. The
applicant shall file with the city engineer

building or structure as it is proposed to
be when completed and in.place upon its
site in the City of Kent."

follows:
"3.8.28 PERMITS. The necessary moving
and building permits required by this
chapter or any city ordinance shall be
issued by the city clerk upon approval
by the city engineer, or building in -
l. spector, in his absence, only after all
requirements have been complied with."

proval by the City Building Department."
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication, as provided by law.
