AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending a portion of Section
1 of Ordinance No. 1647 relating to plan-
ning and zoning for land use and develop-
ment in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did, upon
the second day of February, 1970, hold a Public Hearing following
study by the Kent Planning Commission relating to the zoning of
certain land then recently annexed to the City and then unzoned,
and
WHEREAS, the proper legal description of the property
appeared in the publication of Notice of Public Hearing and the
City Council considered and discussed the entire property de-
scribed in said publication, and
WHEREAS, in Ordinance 1647, which was passed by the
City Council February 16, 1970, the legal description of a por-
tion of the property zoned was incorrect, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend that portion of
Ordinance 1647 to correct the erroneous legal description, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of Section 1 of Ordinance
1647 which reads as follows:

"The W 1/2 of the W 1/2 of the NW 1/4
of the SE 1/4 in Section 20, T 22 N,
R 5E., W.M., in King County, Washing-
ton; AND the N 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of
the SW 1/4 of said Section; EXCEPT
streets, highways, and/or roads thereof,
is hereby zoned as R-1 (Single Family
Residential Zoning District) zone,"
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The following described land, situated
in the City of Kent, County of King,
State of Washington, and presently un -
zoned, more particularly described as
follows:
The NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 20,
T 22 N, R 5E, W.M., in King County,
Washington; AND the NE 1/4 of the NE
1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section;
EXCEPT streets, highways,and/or roads
thereof is hereby zoned as R-1 (Single
Family Residential Zoning District)
zone.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor
of the City of Kent, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof,
