AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
' Washington, amending Kent City Ordinance
No. 1563 (December, 1968) as amended by
Kent City Ordinance No. 1629 (January,
1970) to change the regular meeting time
of the Kent City Council from 7:00 o'clock
p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each
month to 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the first
and third Mondays of each month.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Kent City Ordinance No. 1563 (December,
No 1629 (January, 1970)
1968) as amended by Kent City Ordinance
which reads as follows:
"Council Meetings. The regular and other
meetings of the City Council of the City
of Kent shall be held in the Council Chamber
of the City of Kent at the City Hall, said
regular meetings to be held on the first and
third Monday in the evenings of each month
and the special meetings as provided by law
at such times as may be designated, said
meetings to convene at 7:00 o'clock p.m.;
provided if any such day of a regular meeting
be a legal holiday, the said meeting shall be
held on the following day at the same hour."
is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication, as provided by law.
