AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington adding to the uses permitted as Con-
ditional Exceptions in M-1 and M-2 Zoning
Districts.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added to Section 10.7.051
of Kent City Ordinance 1071, a new section designated as Section
5 and which shall read as follows:
(5) Parks, playgrounds, and golf courses provided that:
A. No beam of light shall shine directly into a
street or onto any residence.
B. Buildings and structures in a park, playground,
or golf course shall be compatible with exist-
ing buildings and structures in the immediate
vicinity of the proposed parks, playgrounds,
or golf courses.
Section 2. There is hereby added to Section 10.7.3 of
Kent City Ordinance 1071 a new section which will read as follows:
"Parks, playgrounds, and golf courses providing that:
A. No beam of light shall shine directly into a
street or onto any residence.
B. Buildings and structures in a park, playground,
or golf course shall be compatible with exist-
ing buildings and structures in the immediate
vicinity of the proposed parks, playgrounds,
or golf courses.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
