ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE relating to planning
and zoning for land use and. development
in the City of Kent, Washington, and
zoning pursuant to Kent City Ordinance
No. 1071, as amended, certain land an-
nexed to the City of Kent as unzoned,
Tract 1, as R A (Residential -Agricul-
tural Zoning District) Zone and Tract
2, as MA (Industrial -Agricultural Zoning
District) Zone.
WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed
!to the City of Kent unzoned, and
WHEREAS, as requred by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071, as
amended, the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, after
!referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the City of
d Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter set forth,!
and j
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon
the 2nd day of August, 1971 and the 7th day of September, 1971,
hold public hearings on said recommendation insofar as they related
to said certain land, said public hearings being held after proper;
notice thereof, and
WHEREAS, it is found,that said original zoning is in the',
best interests of the health, welfare and morals of the citizens
of the City of Kent and is consistent with the comprehensive plan
of the City of Kent and consistent with good planning,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
!ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The following described land, situated in
the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and present-
ly unzoned, more particularly described as follows:

at the SE corner of said Section 3;
thence S 89°36'00" W along the south

ginning of property herein described;
thence N 26°08' E along a line as
more particularly described in that
certain contract recorded under Audi-
tor's File #5918926, King County,
Washington and along the Northeaster-
ly extension of said line to the
centerline of So. 204th Street (AKA)
Allen Clark Road #665; thence east
along said centerline and said center-
line extended east to the east margin
of Russell Road; thence Southwesterly
along said margin as defined by City
of Kent Ordinance #1013 to a point
which lies 208 feet north of the south
line of said Section 2; thence west
parallel with south line of said Sec-
tion 2 and as defined by City of Kent
Ordinance #1507 to the east line of
said Section 3; thence along said east
line of said Section 3 to a point on
the south line of the north 330 feet
of the south 537.90 feet of the SE 1/4
of the SE 1/4 of the said Section 3;
thence West parallel with the South
line of said Section 3, a distance of 795 feet;
thence north parallel with the west line
of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section
3, a distance of'330 feet; thence West parallel
with the south line of said Section 3, a
distance of 534.50 feet, more or less, to
the west line of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4
of said Section 3; thence south along said
subdivision line 537.90 feet to the south
line of said Section 3; thence 89°36'00"
West along the South line of said Section 3
to the True Point of Beginning.

Section 2. The Planning Director of the City of Kent be
hand he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the com-
jTrehensive planning map of the City of Kent, or upon an addendum
thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in Section 1
of this Ordinance.
Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon the;
:,!comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum
thereto, the copy of said map or addendum shall be filed with the
Director of Records and Elections of King County, Washington, and
'the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and she is hereby authorized
tand directed to record this Ordinance with the Director or Records
nd Elections of King County and pay the filing fee therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
